Traktor mascot is going to Sochi
During
the upcoming Olympics, he will be donning a snow leopard suit instead of the
polar bear one that he is so accustomed to.
'The
Organizing Committee allocated the mascots according to its size, so instead of
polar bear, I will be wearing the snow leopard suit. Quite frankly, becoming
the Olympic mascot has been my dream, and in a matter of days it's going to
come true', said Potrekhalov. He also pointed out that the Committee kept it in
secret as to who would be going to Sochi
as it had been watching videos and photos of candidate mascots at work.
'The
results were out after the New Year, and I received the tickets last week. I
will leave for Sochi
on February 6 and won't be back until February 26', says Aleksey.
