Valery Belousov, Traktor head coach:
– It was a hard-fought matchup as both teams were in desperate need of points. We began rather awkwardly, but then came on the right track and pulled ahead. A little slip in the third period might have cost us a point, but still I would like to thank the team for their will to win. Eight points in four tough games is a decent result.

Sergey Svetlov, Admiral head coach: 
– Congratulations to Traktor on tonight's victory. It was a tough match, both teams want to go the playoffs. Despite coming off on the losing end, we still have the opportunity to make it there, so we will prepare for the remaining three home games like it's our chance, which it actually is.

Question to Belousov: Are you flying straight to Sochi tonight?
Belousov: No. I first have to return to Chelyabinsk, then I am flying to Kazan for the 7-day Olympic team training camp.

Question to Svetlov: What will the players do during the Olympic break?
Svetlov: They have a week off; then, on February 7 we are going to Czech Republic to have a two-week training camp and two exhibition matches. Later we will return to Vladivostok to start preparing for the remainder of the regular season.
