Shalunov out, Kostromitin in
Traktor and Admiral have carried
out an exchange as defenseman Dmitry Kostromitin returns to his hometown while
Maksim Shalunov, who is currently playing in ECHL, has become a part of Admiral
roster.
Vladimir Krechin, First Vice President of Traktor, had this to say regarding
this transfer.
'Each year many talented boys graduate from Traktor
hockey school, but there is an imbalance as there are more forwards than defensemen.
Therefore, it was decided to bring back Dmitry Kostromitin. Dima once was
Medvedi’s captain, he also played for the national team and in North America.
Unfortunately, a year ago we had to put him on the extension draft, but now we
have a chance to bring back, and we have decided to do just that. Hopefully, Kostromitin
will help Traktor in achieving set objectives'.
