Preseason. Got myself a winner!

First twenty was a back-and-forth affair. The best chance on goal was wasted by Daniil Gubarev who could not outplay champs’ goaltender Aleksandr Pechurski in a one-on-one. Then, along came the second period, and this was where Traktor secured the victory. First, 24 seconds into the period Vitaly Atyushov scored the opening goal of the game; then, within the span of six minutes, Andrey Kostitsyn and Igor Cherkasov extended the goal differential to three. Finally, right before the horn AK-46 scored his second goal of the game. The result was never in doubt after the second period, but Traktor had a difficult task of allowing Garnett to make a shutout, which the team and Michael achieved successfully. Four zip, Traktor heads back to Chelyabinsk in a terrific mood.
