Karri Kivi: top line was team’s driving force tonight

Karri Kivi, Traktor head coach:
Some of the players who had plenty of ice time were not able to appear tonight, which gave a chance to other young players on the roster. We will see whether they are going to be able to utilize this opportunity. As far as the game goes, tonight Traktor was led forward by the players of the top line.

Anatoli Yemelin, Avtomobilist head coach:
We scratched and clawed tonight, but could not win in regulation. Anyway, I would like to thank the team and the fans who gave us the best vocal support of the season thus far.

Question to Yemelin: How is Anton Lazarev doing?
Yemelin: This Tuesday he successfully underwent surgery in one of the hospitals in Germany. He will back on the ice in two weeks’ time.
