Svetlov: I would like to congratulate Traktor on their victory. I am not satisfied with how Lada performed tonight. It seems as though Traktor wanted to win more than my team did. We were not 100% for this game. I told my boys Traktor would be extra motivated for this one, but could not quite communicate this to them.
There are times when everything goes without a hitch and people believe it is going to be this way forever. But if you make one tiny mistake, you get punished. Maybe it is my fault that I could not prepare the team properly for tonight’s game.

Kivi: A very important victory for us. We needed to win tonight, especially with a team like Lada who is on a roll as of late.
Did Panov really say the team fought for me tonight? It’s great to hear. The bench was extremely lively tonight too – each hit or blocked shot were met with a cheer. Desire to win was punctuated in every move tonight. I really hope this match will be a turning point for Traktor.
