Maksim Smelnitsky: it would be great to play entire game at one pace
- I was only satisfied with the third period tonight. Some of the
players had a really bad match, even though we warned them that it would be a
tough one. Unfortunately, a part of the roster did not understand what we were
talking about. Some did not finish tonight’s game; others will lose their spot
on the lineup in the next one.
It’s been the trend of the last few games that Medvedi put their opponents away
in the third period. Any reason behindthat?
Of course, it
would be great if my team played the entire game in one pace. Sometimes we scored
several times during the first two periods but completely flopped in the third.
Now the situation is sort of reverse, and I think it is mostly due to our
physical training regimen developed by Vadim Gudzik.
