Semyon Kokuyov: we cannot rest on our laurels

- We won tonight, and this is great. However, we still have the last game of the home series, and we need to continue to try and get as much points. We can’t rest on our laurels. As far as my performance is concerned, I think I could have played better that I actually did.

What did Traktor lack in the first period?
We are somewhat justified by the fact that we did not have a skating session in the morning. However, we still should have come out prepared anyways, but we caught the game rhythm only in the second period.

Traktor often gets points outside of regulation time…
Well, I think we should create more traffic and take more shots to get the wins in regulation.

Tonight’s game was the fourth in row. Has the team accumulated too much fatigue?
Of course, it is taking its toll. One game in two days, a tough schedule, even though it is a home series. A very tough month indeed.
