Andrei Nikolishin: game was nerve-racking

Vyacheslav Butsayev, HC Sochi head coach:
- Congratulations to the hosts on tonight’s victory. We should never have periods like the first one tonight. It seemed as though Traktor was playing on a fifth gear while we could not kick it into the second one. The reason for that is pretty clear for those who follow the news, but nonetheless, we managed to tie the game. Unfortunately, two quick goals were a devastating blow that we could not recover from.

Andrei Nikolishin, Traktor head coach:
- Thank you. The game was a nerve-rack; three quick goals here, three quick goals there. Mistakes, mistakes…good teams should not make so many of them. Maybe this is due to the heavy schedule. It seemed that Traktor at times hurried through the game to finally have a break. Good thing it is finally here; we now have some time to recuperate and move forward.

Question to Nikolishin: Chistov and Glinkin made some serious mistakes tonight; two days ago, Yakutsenya made a mistake that led to the goal scored by Lokomotiv. What is going on with experienced players?
Nikolishin
You can ask the same question from them. This string of mistakes began earlier in the second period; what Chistov and Glinkin did was a consequence, not a cause. This is a chain reaction; if a team pushes forward, they do it together. If it goes down, they do it together too. Its all about psychology.

Question
to Nikolishin: You mentioned the break the team is on. With that said, any summary of these two months?
Nikolishin: Well...28 games, 37 points.
