- Congratulations to Avtomobilist on a well-deserved victory. We lost this game in minor things like our inability to clear out our own crease or create traffic on the opponent’s crease.
Andrei Razin, Avtomobilist head coach:
- Tonight was a six point game, as we often call showdowns like this. We were prepared for it, but something went wrong in the first period. Nonetheless, the team played for one another, and we managed to turn this game around. I believe this was one of our best games of the current regular season. I would like to congratulate my team on this victory.
Question to Nikolishin: What was the turning point of the game? One more thing – do you think your coaching staff should have taken a timeout in the second period?
Nikolishin: Well, since we did not take it, then I think we should not have. As for the turning point, I think it was the tying goal scored by Avtomobilist.
