Andrei Nikolishin, Traktor head coach:
- You can’t win games like tonight’s without scoring, and to score, a team needs to show desire and will to win; a team has to get to the crease, create traffic and win the puck. Without all of this, we were bound to lose, and we did.

Pavel Yezovskikh, Yugra head coach:
- It was a tough matchup. My team stuck to the game plan for almost the entire game. Our goaltender, Georgi Gelashvili was on his A-game tonight. Power play and counterattacks were also top notch. As for the third period, we backed down a little, trying to hang on to the win. Despite the late goal scored by Traktor, we got away with the win. I would like to thank my team for their performance tonight.
