Describe the atmosphere pervading tonight’s game.
To be honest with you, tears welled in my eyes when they showed the video dedicated to Valeri Konstantinovich. It was a great way to honor his life and career as he gave his best years as a player and a coach to both Traktor and Metallurg.

Traktor showed a lot of desire to win this game. What did the team lack, in your opinion?
I think we were a little nervous at the start of the game but then got a hold of ourselves and created so many scoring chances. We could have one this one, but unnecessary goals that we allowed prevented us from doing this. It is okay though; we have to move forward. All we need is some more luck.

Is Metallurg that scary? Experts and fans alike thought this would be a resounding win for Magnitka.
I don’t think they are that scary. The reality in KHL is that any team can win on any given night; it is how things are right now.

Your line gutted out a goal tonight. Do you prefer scoring after eye-pleasing combinations or the goals like the one you scored in this game?
Does not matter. We need any goals we can score.
