- We were prepared for battle, and the game was exactly this – a battle. I would like to thank my players for playing their hearts out tonight. One point is good enough for us. Well, we need to continue our away series in the same vein.

Sergei Zubov, SKA head coach:
- I agree. It was a tough and hard-hitting matchup. It was hard to get to the opponent’s net, and good thing we scored early in the OT to continue our hot streak.

Question to Zubov: Did you berate or cheer up Ketov after the own goal?
Zubov: It was not his fault. Of course we did not berate him for that.

Question to Zubov: Why did the third goal not go in in regulation time?
Zubov: Like I said – it was a very tough game. Plus, our tonight’s opponent looked somewhat fresher on separate occasions.

Question to Zubov: Please evaluate Koskinen’s performance.
Zubov: He saved us in several key moments. As far as the first goal goes, he was blocked and could not see the puck.

Question to Zubov: Will we see Barabanov back on the lineup going forward?
Zubov: Absolutely. We gave him some time to take a rest.
