- Every game is like the last one for us. We were ready for Metallurg and took this game very seriously. I think both teams were equally matched tonight, but we were able to convert our chances. I would like to thank my team for their will to win.

- Skill level is a very important factor in today’s KHL. All my players always give it their best on the ice, but sometimes they lack skill to back it up. Other than that, I have no questions to my team regarding tonight’s game. I would also like to thank our fans for their support despite all our trials and tribulations. It’s a pity we did not get at least one point tonight.
Here is hoping Kirill Kaprizov will be able to play on Friday. Even if he gets back to Novokuznetsk on gam day, we would want him to appear on the ice against Magnitka.
