Neftekhimik vs. Traktor, 1:2. Postgame press-conference

Anvar Gatiyatulin, interim Traktor head coach:
- We treat every game very seriously, including tonight’s. My team stuck to the game plan, paying a lot of attention to the defense. We also managed to capitalize on our chance to get away with a win. The entire team fought to the end, and I want to commend them for that.

Vladimir Krikunov, Neftekhimik head coach:
- We had a great start and opened the score, but ultimately it caused our downfall as we rushed forward in an attempt to increase the lead. Last time we played against Traktor on away ice, we were trailing but then managed to tie the game and even pull ahead. Tonight, we should have played a stricter defensive game. The goal that we allowed seconds before the intermission was a huge blow too. But well, we have to move on to the next game.
