Jan Bulis: I told Novotny about Chelyabinsk and Traktor

– I talked to Jiri and told him that Chelyabinsk is a true hockey town with a lot of restaurants to eat out at. More importantly, though, I told him that the most important thing for the people in the city is Traktor, a team with traditions and fans who never give up. I am sure Jiri will give his hundred percent on the ice; he is a workhorse at both ends of the ice, is good at faceoffs and in shorthanded play. Moreover, he is a good shooter. As far as personal qualities go, overall he is a great guy to have in the locker room.
It’s interesting that he is coming to Traktor at the same age that I did. I am sure it is a coincidence, but I still wish him nothing but luck. He will help Traktor a great deal.

Jan Bulis was with Traktor for 4 years (2011-2015). During his tenure, he played 235 GP, scored 47 goals and gave 48 assists (95 points total). Bulis is also a Kontinent Cup winner (2012), as well as Gagarin Cup bronze (2012) and silver (2013) medalist.
