Anvar Gatiyatulin, Traktor head coach:
- It was a very tough matchup. We were lucky to have opened the score this early; later, we just managed to play disciplined hockey. I would like thank my team as well as our fans for their support throughout this entire away series.

- We did not play our best game, that’s for sure. We looked bad in the attacking zone while Traktor was great on the D. In fact, we only had a couple of sure-fire scoring chances, but honestly, it was not enough to get the win in this game. We have to think it through and prepare for the next bout.

Question to Gatiyatulin: Was the defensive-oriented play tonight a deliberate game plan?
Gatiyatulin: Well, it was third straight away game, and we have been on the road for so long, therefore yes, we tried to be focused on the defense, and I think we did just that.
