Congratulations to Traktor on tonight’s win. I have a lot to say about my team though. Where was our motivation? Lack of discipline, unnecessary penalties, lack of willingness to go to the crease. I also would like to point out two questionable moments; I think four minutes for Alexander Perezhogin is a little too much. Plus, the Parshin penalty was sort of questionable as well. We have to take a look at the video.

We were motivated to win against one of the league’s leaders, and coaching staff, including myself, did not even need to use any additional words to pump up the team. We were disciplined, created many scoring chances and converted them to get a win. On behalf of the team, I want to thank Yevgeni Kuznetsov for his support. We wish him and the Capitals the very best in their season.
Question to Kanareikin: When will Burdasov be back?
Kanareikin: He will start training in ten days or so. Quite frankly, I would love to finally see him in action, just like Petr Khokhryakov.
Question to Gatiyatulin: Are Vesce and Birner out due to injuries?
Gatiyatulin: No, we just picked these players, that’s all.
Question to Gatiyatulin: Why did you choose Demchenko over Francouz tonight?
Gatiyatulin: We gave Pavel some time to rest. By the way, Vasya was very good in this game.
Question to Kanareikin: Why didn’t you pull the goalie when it was five on four?
Kanareikin: I think we should have, but we still had chances besides that. Where did Derek Roy send the puck when he shot it from the slot? Where was he aiming at?
