Back in 2013, Traktor took on Barys in the first round of playoffs.
After two losses at home (3:4 OT, 3:5), Traktor won twice on the road (3:1,
3:2), then seized the lead in Chelyabinsk (6:3). Barys then tied the series at three games apiece (2:4). However, the black-and-white
managed to take the series in game seven and eventually to advance all the way to
the Gagarin Cup finals where they were stopped by Dynamo Moscow (2:4 in
the series).
