Post-game press conference. Traktor vs Lokomotiv

After the game between Traktor and Lokomotiv that was successful for the team from Chelyabisnk, head coached Peteris Skudra and Alexander Ardashev took part in the press conference after the game.

Lokomotiv`s acting head coach Alexander Ardashev:
"Of course we had a will to win. Guys tried to do the task for the game, made some mistakes that turned into goals. In offense we tried to play actively against the opponent but their goalies played amazing and our players couldn`t show the skills needed for scoring."

Traktor`s head coach Peteris Skudra:
"First of all I would like to congratulate all the fans and guys on the winning. It took us long to win a home game. We came on ice with the spirit to win, though the first period turned out ot be difficult for us. So it wasn`t easy for us in the beginning. Before the second period we had a talk and came on ice with different energy and scored some good goals. The game was fast. Lokomotiv is a fast team, needless to say that the game wasn`t easy. 31 blocked shot is a result for me. Thank you.

Peteris, congratulations on the winning game. There will be uneasy games in the West and in Ekaterinburg. Does the team have enough strength?

Peteris Skudra:  Finally we have three game-free days, we haven`t had such luxury before. Three days for us is a good break, guys will have some rest. The injury list gets smaller. Of coure, there are difference in the roster. We are optimistic to this trip.

Who else will go to the trip from those among the ijury list?

Peteris Skudra: We have Hyka back and it`s already great. I think that Glinkin will join us as well. Hopefully, Sedlak will play in the second game of the trip. These guys are key players for us. And we are glad to have them back.

Will Demchenko keep playing?

Peteris Skudra: Everyone will play.
