Postgame press conference. Traktor vs Amur

The game between Traktor and Amur was finished in the shootout, Amur picked two points from the game and ended four-game losing streak. 

"It was a good and dynamic game. The first period was tight. Neither team wanted to lose. We had to lead and we managed to do that. The second period wasn`t good for us because of the penalties. In the third period Traktor managed to tie the game because of our mistakes. Though they scored we didn`t hide.  The game lasts 60 minutes, we worked till the very end. We tied the game and were lucky enough to win in the shootout. I would like to thank guys for their not giving up in those difficult minutes in the penalty kill when Traktor dominated. They did a good job and I would like to thank them for that," said Alexander Gulyavtsev, head coach of Amur Khabarovsk.

"Speaking of the first period I can tell that we didn`t play the way we planned. I think it was more difficult for us than for Amur as they had a game before. In the second and the third period there was a good game. We battled well. I would like to thank our penalty kill special team that has been playing greatly for 11 minutes. We have to play better on the power play. We have to play better in attack and create more moments. Skills of Amur in the shootout was better," said Vladimir Yurzinov, head coach of Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Why was Fedotov the starting goalie?
It was our decision.

There is a feeling that only imports wants to make the playoffs.
It`s hard for me to comment this. We work, we practise. In some moments we achieve what we want, in some moments we don`t. It means that we have to work harder. Sometimes there`s lack of skills. We work on different components, but it is what it is. Having worked and being commited in the second and third period gave us one point. 

Kruchinin played in the first line, thenhe was benched. What was the reason?
We weren`t satisfied with his play.

How long will be Hyka out?
We keep an eye on this. Hyka, Popov, Glinkin, Thomas are important players for us, but they are out for now. They are players for our special teams,no doubt, we need them in attack.
