2022 All Star Week to take place in Chelyabinsk!
On July 8 the KHL president Alexei Morozov and the governor of the Chelyabinsk region and the president of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club Alexei Texler signed an angreement about 2022 All Star Week.
There were Krasnoyarsk, Magnitogorsk, Yaroslavl and other cities among the candidates for the All Star Week. The decision was made based on the results of the report made by the special KHL commission that takes into consideration 32 points - from the arena infrastructure and the city to finance investment from the city and region government. As a result, Chelyabinsk has been chosen as a host city. The representatives of the Chelyabinsk region were interested and showed willingness to hold important events of the KHL, the JHL and the WHL.
The Chelyabinsk region will be , the fifth region to host All Star Week. The beginning of the main show of three weeks will be on January 8, 2022, there will be WHL All Star game, the next days Chelyabinsk will see the JHL Challenge Cup, and on January 15-16 there will be the Skills Show and KHL All Star Game respectively.

Chelyabinsk is a special city for our hockey, everyone and everything here live with hockey and we can't even count how many players are from here. The Traktor Chelyabinsk shows good results in the KHL and current players signing company makes it one of the leaders of the upcoming season that will be interesting for fans. Traktor Ice Hockey Club added women`s team this season, there is a junior team, everything here is made for children`s hockey. The club and the region build a hockey system. We would like to thank the government of the Chelyabinsk region and the organization for their willigness to become the host of one of the most important KHL events. I'm sure that together we will make a great hockey holiday for all the fans.
