Traktor at Olympics | Pyeongchang 2018 | Francouz` four place
The Czech goaltender from the Traktor Chelyabinsk participated at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The previous Winter Olympic Games took place in PyeongChang, South Korea. The only player from the Traktor Chelyabinsk who took part in the tournament was goaltender Pavel Francouz.
By taking the first place in A group the team of Czechia was able to qualify for the quaterfinals, where they won over USA, 3-2, but in the semifinals fell to Russia, 0-3. In the Bronze Medal game the national team of the Czech Republic lost to Canada, 4-6, and took the fourth place in the tournament table.
That year Russia won the Olympic gold medals. Pavel Francouz played 6 games and won 4 of them with GAA of 2.27 and %SVS of 90.5.
