Gagarin Cup Quaterfinals. Traktor vs Salavat Yulaev
For the third time in the KHL history Traktor and Salavat Yulaev will face each other in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.
The first time when the team from Chelyabinsk faced the Salavat Yulaev in the Gagarin Cup playoffs was in 2018. Then, Anvar Gatiyatulin`s team won the series in 7 games, 4-3.
Last season both teams met for the second time. In the first round of the 2021 Gagagin Cup Traktor fell to Salavat Yulaev 1:4 by winning only one game in Ufa.
This season Traktor and Salavat Yulaev will play in the Gagarin Cup quaterfinals. Traktor swept the Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, 4-0, whereas it took 5 games for Salavat Yulaev to defeat the Sibir Novosibirsk, 4-1.
