Temporary changes in the coachinhg staff
Due to Igor Yefimov being called up to the U18 national team Maxim Smelnitsky is temporary named as the second assistant of Anvar Gatiyatulin. Sergei Tertyshny will temporary replace Maxim Smelnitsky on the position of the head coach of VHL Chelmet Chelyabinsk.
The U18 national team with the head coach Igor Yefimov will take part in the training camp that will take place in Novogorsk, after that the team will head to the Future Cup in Minsk, Belarus.
During this time Anvar Gatiyatulin will be helped by the head coach of VHL Chelmet Chelyabinsk Maxim Smelnitsky, whereas Chelmet assistant coach Sergei Tertyshny will be temporary head coach of the VHL team.

– Before signing contract with Igor Yefimov we discussed the fact that he will keep working for the national team and will be able to join the camps and tournaments planned by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. Maxim Smelnitsky will be a temporary assistant to Anvar Gatiyatulin whereas Chelmet Chelyabinsk will be coached by Sergei Tertyshny.
