Traktor Chelyabinsk and Ilya Karpukhin agree to terms on new contract
The new contract is valid for the next two seasons.
Ilya Karpukhin is product of the Traktor Chelyabinsk. The defenseman played in all the teams of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club and in the Traktor Ice Hockey School. In 2018 the blueliner won bronze medal of the Junior Hockey League with the Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk. His KHL debut took place in the 2018/19 season in the away game against Spartak Moscow. In 2021/22 season Karpukhin won brinze medal of the KHL with the Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Last season Karpukhin took part in 64 games of the regular season, scored 7 goals and made 10 assists and 55 hits and blocked 99 shots. These 17 points is defenseman`s personal record for points in one regular season.

Overall, the defenseman of the Traktor Chelyabinsk recorded 53 (13+40) points and plus-13 rating in 262 KHL games.
