Andrei Zuyev`s birthday

Andrei Zuyev was born on May 18, 1964, in Chelyabinsk. Merited Master of Sports, a product of the Metallurg Chelyabinsk Ice Hockey School who was coached by Gennady Deryabin and Pyotr Dubrovin, joined the Traktor Chelyabinsk in 1991, after Sergei Mylnikov left. The goaltender has recorded 38 shutouts in 388 games of 10 seasons with the team. In the 1992/1993 he was named MHL best goalie of the season. In 1993 he won the world championship that took place in Munich and in 1994 he won the Olympics in Lillehamer. As a player of the Traktor Chelyabinsk the goaltender won bronze medals of the MHL in 1993 and 1994 and bronze medals of the VHL in 2004.

For the moment the coach works for the Sokol Krasnoyarsk of the VHL.
