Artyom Borodkin is a product of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club. The defenseman has been playing for the Traktor Chelyabinsk for seven seasons and recorded 48 (15+33) points in 397 games. In the 2017/2018 season Borodkin helped the team to win the bronze medals of the KHL.
Last three seasons the defenseman played for the Vityaz Moscow Region. Last season the player recorded four goals and six assists in 41 games of the season.
