- It’s always great when people of different generations get together, even if it’s only once a year. I also like the fact that most veterans are still in decent shape and have not lost their skating skills. Look at 66-year old Yury Shatalov; he still skates pretty well. It’s a great example for the young hockey players all over the country.
The fact that Yevgeny Kuznetsov played with us tonight is symbolic. He represents the next generation of Chelyabinsk hockey. Ilya Kovalchuk should have played as well, but he did not feel himself too well.
