Vladimir Krechin: rumors swirling in the media are just rumors. Valery Belousov has extended his contract with Traktor for the next season

- There have appeared certain rumors about alleged adversity within the team as well as the conflict between Valery Belousov and Yevgeny Kuznetsov. These rumors are not true. On February 22 Traktor’s official website posted the official announcement of Belousov’s contract prolongation. Then – nobody in the team has any sort of conflict with Yevgeny Kuznetsov. We are perfectly aware of the fact that when one of the leaders underperforms, he becomes a scapegoat. Yevgeny is our leader, and trust me –he will show his best in these playoffs.

I would also like to point out that Traktor is now in Eastern conference semifinals and just like in previous season we intend to advance as far as possible in the playoffs. We believe that rumors like the aforementioned ones are spread to destabilize the environment inside and around the team prior to the start of another round of playoffs. We also urge you not to believe any untrustworthy sources and to rely upon the official information channels.
