2012/2013 Playoffs. Game 6, Traktor vs. Ak Bars – 3:2. Press-conference after the match

Valery Belov, Ak Bars’ head coach:
What a tough series this is, no wonder it will take us all seven games to determine the winner. As for tonight’s game – trailing two goals in game 6 is not fun and a very big disadvantage, thus we could not cut it.

Valery Belousov, Traktor’s head coach:
First I would like to congratulate my team. Win two in a row against Ak Bars is a tough task, but we accomplished it. Game 7 is on hand where everything will be decided.

Question to Belousov: What was the reason behind Glinkin and Nichushkin swapping lines?
Belousov: The reason was that we wanted a victory.

Question to Belousov: Will you allow Nichushkin to go the junior team’s training camp?
Belousov: He has two more weeks before departure.

Question to Belousov: Did Osnovin go to U-21 team already?
Belousov: Not yet; he’s leaving this Friday along with Demchenko.

Question to Belousov: Any reason behind replacing Osnovin with Lemtyugov?
Belousov: No, no particular reason.

Question to Belousov: Is the first goal a Traktor’s set piece?
Belousov: It’s not the first time that we score goals like this, so of course everyone know where to be and what to do during power plays.

Question to Belov: Could you analyze tonight’s loss?
Belov: The final score is 2:3, that’s why we lost. There isn’t much to analyze – it’s very hard trying to cut the two-goal margin, that’s all.
