– I don’t know what to say – emotions are boiling over. I was benched in
the second period and had to watch the game from the sidelines without the
opportunity to go on the ice and help my team, though I wanted to.
Was the team nervous before game 7?
We were down in the series 1-3, but tied it up, so no, we were not nervous. We stuck to our game, that’s why we are in the finals.
Could Ak Bars’ goal become a breaking moment of the game?
Yes, we were a bit downbeat after this, but thank God we didn’t break.
The first game against Dynamo is on Sunday. Will you have enough strength?
We are not scared of anything right now! We’ll get back home, get some good sleep and back on the ice! Dynamo is a great team, but I think our coaching staff will come up with a suitable strategy against them.
Who of Ak Bars’ players impressed you the most?
Morozov and Zaripov. These guys can score when their team most needs it.
