Yevgeny Katichev: we have to be even more unified as a team

Was it one of the best games for Traktor in these playoffs?
I don’t think so. We played a good game, but the series is not over and we have things to strive for. We need to be even more unified as a team.

Was the hometown fans’ support the reason for such a great performance tonight?
Of course, we wanted to win in front of our fans. We had nothing to lose.

What was the key moment of tonight’s match?
It was when we scored our second goal – it gave us a boost of confidence.

During the third period Traktor looked somewhat slower Dynamo. Was that due to the fatigue factor?
Dynamo’s back was against the wall – they needed a final spurt. Of course it was difficult to hold them down. We’re not machines – our strength is limited. But hey, we saved the victory, and that is all that matters.
