Deron Quint: Chelyabinsk should be proud of Traktor
- We were unlucky in game 6; we could not convert many of our scoring
chances. Dynamo is a great team; as far Traktor goes, no one even thought we
could make it this far. I don’t want to discuss the officiating – referees are
human, they make mistakes too. However, in game 6 the officiating was decent. I
should also say that the quality officiating in KHL increases by the year.
It has become obvious that our successes are not just a coincidence. We play better and better each year, our young players get invaluable experience. Chelyabinsk should be proud of its hockey team that gave it their all at each second of each hockey game.
As far as my contract is concerned, we are going to have to negotiate it, and I think we will reach an agreement. I’ve spent three unforgettable years here and would like to stay in Chelyabinsk where everything makes me feel at home.
