Yevgeny Kuznetsov: I remain Traktor player for the next year

Is it true that the representatives of Washington Capitals are coming to Helsinki to persuade you to go to over the pond?
Don’t believe the rumors (smiles). I do keep in touch with the Capitals, but this time it’s nothing new – they just want me to visit the team and discuss what is next. With that said, they know what my plans are – I’m staying in Russia for another year, then I’m going to the NHL.

Are you at all bothered by the rumor about you leaving Traktor for Dynamo?
No, not at all. I will remain in Traktor for the next 365 days. Media loves stories like these, but I say – don’t believe them.

You are talking so confidently, like there wasn’t a story with Nichushkin no longer than a week ago.
Valera’s story is a bit different.
