Trophies and achievements: Russian Superleague champion (2004), European Champions Cup winner (2005), Russian Superleague silver medalist (2006), Russian Superleague bronze medalist (2007), IIHF World champion (2009), Continent Cup winner (2011), KHL silver medalist (2012).

Since 2002 Anton Kuryanov has been an Avangard stalwart. Right until 2012 he was a regular fixture in team Russia (51 GP, 7 G, 13 A).
Last season Kuryanov played 36 regular season games as well as 12 playoff games, accumulating a total of 22 points (13 G, 9 A), 16 PIM and +6.
