How's the interseason? Did you go on a vacation?
I did - made a trip to the sea. However, I haven't forgotten about training sessions. In April and May I was training with my personal coach. The older you get, the more you have to pay attention to your body.
What are your personal objectives for the upcoming season?
Being an athlete, I always try to set the highest goals, both individually and collectively.
You have previously worked with Belousov. Have his methods changed?
I don't think so. Same training system, same principles: play with speed, lots of passing.
Have your family moved to Chelyabinsk?
Unfortunately, not yet. My wife is still in Omsk. She will be here as soon as we are back from Switzerland. As for me, I have been renting an apartment since May. All good, but no one to cook for me.
Is there something about the city that you have come to like?
Quality roads - that is a big advantage. Generally, it's easy to see that the city is getting better and better - big money is in the game, no doubt.
