How do you think the team work progressed during the tournament?
I don't think it's hundred percent, but we are definitely on the right track. We will be fine by the time the season starts.
What was your most memorable moment of this tournament?
Amount of fans in attendance. When you watch a preseason game on TV, you see plenty of empty seats. This was not the case with the Governor Cup. It's evident that Chelyabinsk crowd loves hockey - Traktor Arena is filled to capacity on almost every match. Of course, it's very inspiring to have such loving and faithful fans.
In your opinion, what is the secret behind successful team work?
We had a productive training camp in Switzerland with a lot of focus on physical exercise. I think we have benefited a great deal from it. We lost two games, and the coaching staff told us what exactly we need to correct. We have made necessary conclusions and are getting better by the match. The upcoming Romazan Cup will be another great opportunity to showcase our progress.
