The only change in Traktor's line up was Fokin replacing Garnett in between the pipes.
First period
The match began at a decent pace that was kept throughout the first twenty. Traktor quickly garnered a power play chance and had two solid opportunities on goal - Kontiola missed the goal, Kuznetsov's shot to the empty corner was blocked at the very last second. Barys got their power play midway through the period, but Fokin fended off all the encroachments on his net. The rest of the period was mostly power game and no shots; zip-zip as a result.
Second period
This period was one of the best for Traktor in this current season. First Bulis converted a rebound into one-nothing on the scoreboard. Whenever Barys countered, Fokin was there to prevent the goal, as it was with two solid slapshots by Pushkaryov and Semenov. The period rolled along, and in two minutes the game was almost completely decided at the hands of Kuznetsov. One of his goals was scored during Traktor's shorthanded play; Kuzya turned the puck over and converted a breakaway, not leaving Yeremeyev a single chance.
Third period
Semen Kokuyov quickly puts the last dot above i in this game, converting a rebound from the boards into four-nothing. Visitors followed it up with a killed-off penalty and could make the score even more devastating for Barys, but Mokin missed his tough angle shot just by a whisker. Barys managed to score a consolation goal - Grebenshchikov slapped from the blue line, the puck deflected off Kostitsyn's stick and went up and over Fokin and into the net. However, AK managed to redeem himself with yet another season goal. 5:1, fourth victory in a row for the black-and-white team.
