Andrey Kostitsyn: we can`t afford to lose points, so we often try to play it safe

After a miscue against Donbass Traktor returned back on the winning track with a victory over Dinamo Minsk.

'We stuck to the game plan - score a goal or two and hang on to the lead', Kostitsyn said.

According to Kositsyn, the atmosphere in the team is good despite the team's position in the league rankings.

'We do not pay attention to it. We know what we are capable of. We can't afford to lose points, so we often try to play it safe'.

Kostitsyn thinks that Traktor is more than capable of getting to the playoffs and does not believe the team needs an injection of new players.

'Traktor is a team with enormous potential. All we have to do is get better on the offensive end and convert more of our scoring chances; as soon as this happens, victories will follow'.
