Game Day. Traktor at Vityaz

Today on October 17 Traktor opens away game series with a game against Vityaz, this team was one of the most surprising members of the KHL Western Conference. At the season opener at Traktor Ice Arena the teams faced each other, Vityaz was the one to win, 4-2. Ilya Karpukhin and Lukas Sedlak scored but it didn`t help the team to win the first home game of the season.

The team from Podolsk showed an amazing result in the beginning of the regular season by winning over CSKA Moscow, SKA Saint Petersburg, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Avtomobilist Ekaterinburg and made it to the top of the tournament table. For now Vityaz has 27 points after 17 games, only the CSKA Moscow team has more points now.

Traktor showed some spirit  and wish to play till the very end in the previous home game series though the 3 out of 6 points result wasn`t enough for everyone. The imports of the team keep showing their leader`s abilities: Tomas Hyka after recording a hat-trick has 11 (5+6) points, Lukas Sedlak has 9 (6+3) points and Andrew Calof has 9 (4+5) points.

The game between Traktor and Vityaz will start at 9:30PM (GMT+5) and take place in Podolsk, Moscow region.
