Traktor Chelyabinsk names Vladimir Yurzinov Jr new head coach

After 3-5 loss to Avtomobilist Ekaterinburg, the head coach Peteris Skudra was fired.

Following the results of 27 games Traktor is out of the playoff zone. Due to poor result and upon the request of the organization`s president Alexei Texler, the head coach Peteris Skudra was fired. Vladimir Yurzinov Jr accepted the offer to step behind the bench, the agreement will be signed as soon as the coach comes to Chelyabinsk.

The Traktor team is the fans from Chelyabinsk and Chelyabinsk region and all over the world. All the fans keep supporting the team even in such a complicated situation. The venue was full during the game. Our fans deserve to see the team winning the games and Traktor has to be in the play offs zone. Our goal is the same, it`s playing for the Gagarin Cup, but in order to achieve it we need to get point sin every game. I, general direcotr of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club, take full responsibility for this step. The governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexey Texler supported the candidate for the head coach position.
