Ivan Savin, general director of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club:
- Alexei Potapov is a two-time Gagarin Cup winner. This was one of the reason of signing him to Traktor Chelyabinsk. Potapov is a universal forward who can play both as a center and as a winger. He is uncompromising on the ice, disciplined and he is able to create right atmosphere within the group. We plan him to have one of the main roles on the penalty kill and to neutralize leaders of other teams. That is what Traktor lacked last season and in the playoffs especially.
