Alexei Zavarukhin joins coaching staff of Traktor Chelyabinsk

Alexei Zavarukhin will join the Traktor Chelyabinsk`s coaching staff as an analytics coach.

Alexei Zavarukhin played almost all his professional career in Chelyabinsk. He recorded 204 (98+106)  and +12 +/- rating in 549 games for Traktor. 

Once retiring from playing hockey, Zavarukhin joined the coaching staff of the junior team of the Traktor Ice Hockey Club. As an assistant coach he won bronze medal of the JHL playoffs in 2017/2018.

In May of 2019 Zavarukhin was named the head coach of the JHL`s Belye Medvdi Chelyabinsk and advanced to the second round of the Kharlamov Cup playoffs twice.

- Anvar Gatiyatulin needed an assistant who would knew his tactics well and who would be able to adapt easily and work with statistics. Аlexei Zavarukhin has significant playing and coaching experience that is why we decided that he would be able to make the coaching staff`s work more effective.
