Traktor opens the museum of club history

The special guests of the ceremony were Deputy Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Oleg Grachev, team captain Vladimir Antipov, goaltender Michael Garnett, defenseman Gennady Razin and Traktor veterans. The red ribbon was cut, and the museum welcomed its first visitors.
Special thanks go to the Director of Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant Museum Nadezhda Dida who provided the club museum with several rare lots including Traktor players’ personal documents.

Oleg Grachev, Deputy Governor of Chelyabinsk Region:

This opening is a new starting point for Traktor. Chelyabinsk is a hockey city, and it absolutely needs to have a hockey history museum, especially considering the fact that last year Traktor won its first major title in a long time – Continent Cup.

Vladimir Krechin, Traktor CEO:
I would like to congratulate everyone on today’s special occasion. We have been nurturing the idea of this museum for quite a while, and this is only the first step. Next thing we are going to do is to open a hall of team’s XX century history that is going to include the materials that date back to 1947.
