U-20 World Championships. Team Russia will not play in the finals

Team Russia will now have to settle for the bronze medals which they will get a chance to earn on January 5 in a match against Russia’s archrival, team Canada. The match will begin at 3 p.m., Chelyabinsk time. On the same day USA and Sweden will play for the gold in the finals; the match will start at 7 p.m., Chelyabinsk time.
